Hey Hockeytrainers!

It’s that time of the year, as the 2013 World Wide Cross fit Games have started already! The games have been rolling since July 22nd and will go through the 28th. You’ll be able to see some of the greatest athletes in the world compete in some of the hardest events ever created.

Cross fit, or the sport of FITNESS, can be a great way to train during the off season. So Hockeytrain.com have taken it upon ourselves to find a fun and challenging cross fit workout you can complete at home.

The Crossfit Workout: 5 rounds for time of (complete all exercises in the shortest amount of time)

  • 400 meter run
  • 20 air squats
  • 20 crunches
  • 15 push ups

This workout is designed for endurance and strength. It’s a great way to improve your hockey skills and strength away from the rink. So call a friend or a few teammates to complete this challenging cross fit workout in your backyard or neighborhood.
